Sometimes I Just Don’t Know – Bryan Estepa

I was approached by Bryan to create artwork for his latest album “Sometimes I Just Don’t Know”.  This album came out of a difficult time in Bryan’s life, and we felt that the artwork should reflect that. It was also the first Bryan Estepa album which featured his touring band (many of whom have been playing with him for over a decade), so he wanted them to be featured in the artwork. We decided on a local bar and record store to shoot the cover art, and it just so happened that the band already had a catch-up planned, so I decided to crash it with my camera. From this shoot, the cover art was born. The CD booklet and vinyl sleeve features live photos I had taken of Bryan and the band from some of Bryan’s past gigs.

The final piece of the puzzle was to shoot some band promo photos, which we took in the studio after he filmed the film clip for the first single from the album. The artwork from the album, and these promo photos were adapted for various posters/social media banners, and for his website and EPK.
